Starting Nursery - January 2024, Government funded places
Applications open on the 1st October 2023 and you will need to apply no later than the 31st October 2023.
To start Nursery in January 2024, your child must be 3 years old between 1st September 2023 and 31st December 2023 to be eligible for the government funded hours.
Starting Nursery - April 2024, Government funded places
Applications open on the 1st January 2024 and you will need to apply no later than the 31st January 2024.
To start Nursery in April 2024, your child must be 3 years old between 1st January 2024 and 31st March 2024 to be eligible for the government funded hours.
Starting Nursery - September 2024, Government funded places
Applications open on the 1st February 2024 and you will need to apply no later than the 28th February 2024.
To start Nursery in September 2024, your child must be 3 years old between 1st April 2024 and 31st August 2024 to be eligible for the government funded hours.
You must submit a formal application between the dates when applications can be received.

Fee paying Nursery places
We have a number of fee paying nursery places for children who are 3 years old. These places are available to parents who wish to pay for nursery provision before the 3 year old government funded hours for nursery can apply (the term after a child is 3 years old) If you are interested in a fee based Nursery place for your child as soon as they are 3 years old, please contact our School Business Leader, Mrs Jackie Coyle at office@ninelands-school.co.uk.

We follow the Leeds City Council Early Years Admission Guidance. If you are allocated a place, we will then contact you in the term prior to your child’s admission date to arrange a visit to our nursery. Nursery staff will make a home visit by appointment to all new starters. Parents of children attending nursery are required to follow the Leeds procedures for applying for a Reception class place. Please note a place in our Nursery does not guarantee a place in our school.
